My name is Alexandra, I am 19 and I am from Belfort, France. I’m a self-taught photographer and mother of a wonderful little boy. I like to wear dress, going to picnic and walking barefeet. I don’t like superficial things and prefer anything in its natural way. I stopped school early because of health problems, but I kept studying the world by myself, reading books and sitting anywhere, observing how humans acts and moves.

I was standing here, against this wall, watching people laugh at each others ; and oneday, I realized that it didn’t match with that world that I was imagining and dreaming about. I gave myself the mission to prove to the world that softness, love, innocence and dreams are still there. An harmonic world between us and Nature, where everyone car about each others and feel free to love. A world that is not always easy to see, but that I try to show with my camera.

Attracted by everything that is soft, fragile, innocent, naive but also mysterious, I can’t say being inspired by anything special, but more by the life in general, and by this strange sensation that I always had, while watching the world from far away without saying anything, waiting patiently my turn, and using my eyes a lot more than my voice.

In photography or in my life in general, and even more surely in motherhood that I’m discovering and into which I totally flourishing, I use instinct as my main tool.

Photography being my job and being already a mother, some persons will say that I’m living too fast : live fast, but not to die young ; live fast, to fast forward the less pleasant moments and not always necessary, and while taking opportunities when they come, without waiting, without hesitation. Be stubborn, believe until the end, give everything you have, live day after day while composing your life and then, take time to live your dreams like a well deserved retirement.

  Jardin fleuris is a series representing the different ages of a woman. The first picture is called Virgin Soil, the second is called Mûres which means both “blackberries” and “mature” representing puberty and first periods, the third picture is called Broken Eggs. Broken eggs represent the loss of virginity in arts. The fourth photo is called Blossom in the Garden and represents a mother with her inner fertile garden.

Today, I was away for a photoshoot, and when I come back home with Camille, the beautiful red head model whose Marin met last year, he is very intrigued and keep trying to open the door when she takes a bath. Finally, she is dressed and open the door, Marin could not wait any more minute and came in to say hello.

  January 5th. The day is starting with a photoshoot with my best childhood friend in the village where I was born. Marin comes with me for Sheriff to have more time painting. He is here on my chest, well wrapped in the mei tai, sometimes eating biscuits or standing to catch the grass. After that, we head up at Marin’s great-grandparents place and have a very filling dinner.

  January 7th. Marin and me spend our day out to different meetings. Back at home, I absolutely want to cook breads (I love baking every kind of breads, sometimes I wonder if I missed my vocation) so I bake a few French baguettes. Marin loves it.
